FINAL IMAGES
Final image review
This image is of a busy shopping street in Manchester town centre, I chose this because I am very pleased with the editing techniques used, I’ve blended several shots to create a busy bustling street, I also like the anonymity it brings with blurred face and people, all rushing by each other. There are so many people here but everyone seems to be oblivious of each other, I struggled to master Long exposure, but managed to create a similar effect by stacking the images together.

Image 2
Image 2 is very similar to image 1, it was part of my Titarenko inspired shoot, again with long exposure but not quite as busy, I like the flow of the tram through the image, and the idea of people “dodging” the tracks – I do however think it could do with being taller, to give the buildings in the background a better feeling of size.
Image 3
I chose this image for no other reason than I like the feel of the reflected buildings in the windows, the flow of the curve through the image is pleasing to the eye, I’m finding myself drawn more and more to black and white imagery.
Image 4
This is a shot of a raised bridge in Trafford park, I like the brightness of the light against the grey backdrop. By widening the aperture and lowering the Fstops I created a very shallow depth of field whilst at the same time shooting from a low vantage point to capture the barrier and the supports and raised bridge in the background
Image 5
This for me is not the best image I’ve produced, but for me is the most poignant, it captures what I set out to achieve in unit 2. It shows the development and change in my city – the foreground is the home of the BBC, Coronation St, and ITV studios, whilst still grinding away in the background is one of the biggest industrial sectors in Europe.
